Safety Director Services

Currently, J. A. Montgomery serves as the Safety Director for 16 municipal Joint Insurance Funds (JIFs) in the State of New Jersey and 10 County Insurance Fund Commissions. In total, we are the primary safety resource for over 485 municipalities, water and sewer utilities, emergency response agencies, boards of education and counties in the State of New Jersey. In addition, J. A. Montgomery serves as the Safety Director for the Municipal Excess Liability Joint Insurance Fund (NJMEL) and the New Jersey County Excess Liability fund (NJCEL). Our services include:

• Loss control visits
• Job site observations
• Review and analysis of worker’s compensation, Auto, EPL, and Liability claims, inclusive of “focus” claims
• Assistance with the formation of client safety committees and attendance at meetings
• Issuance of Safety Director Bulletins
• In-person and online training including over 60 different safety oriented courses and courses designed to comply with OSHA and PEOSH standards and requirements. Click here to view the courses.
